Beat Poët is a Sydney-based label that creates collections of cold, reductionist menswear. The Beat Poët silhouette is based on simple geometry and clothes that fit the form. Collections are presented as full-season wardrobes of two halves. A collection will open with a spring/summer range and conclude with the complementary autumn/winter instalment. The brand tends to be future-focused rather than designing for the moment. That said, inspiration is drawn from the romance and decadence of the past, especially the history and evolution of subculture. |
