Deserts Conquered from Chaos and Nothing, the Darkness receding on the limits of the horizon... The Desert and Fog collection is based on the threat of solar apocalypse and the destruction of the sun and is inspired by the early films of Luc Besson, especially the post-apocalyptic vision of 'Le Dernier Combat'. The first futurist Opera 'Victory Over the Sun' is also a major influence. Desert SS is a collection of articles to survive the solar doom. The key pieces include a black S.A.F. shirt-jacket with tail-coat vents, solar panel jewellery, leather and canvas messenger and overnight bags, and a double-layered long-sleeve T-shirt featuring a print mutated from the NASA Voyager plaque.
